10 Ideas Blog
In this installment of 10 Ideas, we were inspired by gravity, and how to beat it in order to make ourselves fly and our belongings float. There is something very intriguing about being able to life off from the Earth. We’ve flown in planes, but that’s not exactly the same as being able to soar without being enclosed in a machine.
River on Beating Gravity
My gravity-related idea was a helicopter drone boat. Basically, it would work as all three to carry us over any terrain. When we need to get past mountains, it can life up off the ground without a runway. Giant fans would push us through the water, like an air boat, or they could be flipped to push us up into the air.
Terran on Beating Gravity
I really liked the idea of being able to make things float, so I was daydreaming about all sorts of things that could beat gravity. I would like a Lego attachment that made my Lego sculptures fly. I’d like a forever float frisbee that didn’t come crashing down or get stuck in trees (it might need a remote or something), and I want to be able to float high and for longer when I jump on the trampoline. I was picturing a trampoline that had a booster on it, which would make us jump extra high.
