10 Ideas Blog
The 10 Ideas Blog was inspired by the words of James Altucher in his National Best Seller, Choose Yourself. Each week, we sit down and challenge our brain to come up with ten ideas for new inventions. This is a great exercise for anyone to participate in, and sometimes we come up with really great concepts (and sometimes, they’re a little crazy!) Our father, Ben Greenfield wrote an article about why this is such a good idea, and you can read that article here.
In this installment of 10 ideas we were inspired by our pups, Dasher & Comet! They are part of our family and we do many activities together. Like many dogs, they have a lot of energy and can get a bit rowdy! Here are some awesome ideas that can make life more enjoyable for all!
Terran on Doggy Upgrades
There are many types of noise cancelling headphones available out there. But somehow I can’t seem to find a pair that cancels out dog barking… Headphones that completely enclose the eardrum making sure no air can escape are sure ways to cancel out surrounding noise. I think it would be helpful to add a small speaker to the outside of the headphones that plays soft classical music only the dogs can hear, which is proven to be soothing and can reduce the frequency of disruptive barking.
River on Doggy Upgrades
We love being active and playing with our furry best friends. They love treats aka doggy doodles! They can’t get enough of them! My thought this week was to have a doggy doodle maker so that we always have some on hand. We could try many different flavors ranging from bacon, to beef, to peanut butter, etc. We can package them up and take some with us on our many adventures. I know they would love it!
You can see some of our other ideas from the week here:
