10 Ideas Blog
The 10 Ideas Blog was inspired by the words of James Altucher in his National Best Seller, Choose Yourself. Each week, we sit down and challenge our brain to come up with ten ideas for new inventions. This is a great exercise for anyone to participate in, and sometimes we come up with really great concepts (and sometimes, they’re a little crazy!) Our father, Ben Greenfield wrote an article about why this is such a good idea, and you can read that article here.
At the start of the New Year, it was quite chilly, so you can’t really blame us for thinking about all things warm and cozy! It makes perfect since that we would have been dreaming of hot, cheesy pizza with all of our favorite toppings. To go with the pizza, we would need something to drink. Hot cocoa or tea would have been the perfect match on a cold January day.
Terran
I, Terran, had the idea for a heating (or cooling) thermos. River and I are often outside, in the backyard or the woods, exploring nature. We practice Jiu Jitsu outside. We practice archery outside. We do outdoor workouts. We forage. With all of that time outside, it would be nice to have a thermos that had the power, not just to keep a beverage warm, but to actually add heat as it was needed. If the drink was too cold, it could heat it. If it was too hot, it could cool it to make it easier to drink.
River
I, River, want something ooey, gooey, and delicious to chomp into when we do come back inside. Homemade pizza is the best. But, sometimes, we do order it, and it would be awesome if the delivery people had reusable pizza boxes with actual infrared heaters to keep the pizza at the perfect temperature. In fact, it’d be nice to have one of those boxes at home, when Chef Steve comes over to make pizzas with us!
