10 Ideas Blog
The 10 Ideas Blog was inspired by the words of James Altucher in his National Best Seller, Choose Yourself. Each week, we sit down and challenge our brain to come up with ten ideas for new inventions. This is a great exercise for anyone to participate in, and sometimes we come up with really great concepts (and sometimes, they’re a little crazy!) Our father, Ben Greenfield wrote an article about why this is such a good idea, and you can read that article here.
In this installment of 10 Ideas, we were ready for battle! Nerf guns are among our favorite possessions. We often have Nerf gun wars with each other, with family, or with friends. It’s always a challenge to be the best. We thought that Nerf wars could be even better with a few new inventions!
Terran on Nerf Innovation
I, Terran, have many ideas to make Nerf battles even better. Air powered guns would make it possible to shoot further, for great outdoor battles. Nerf bullets with trackers would make them much easier to find (and they could also be used to track the enemy). Auto-aiming Nerf bullets would be hysterical. You could just set a target on the opposing player and shoot, then the bullet would chase them. Haha!
River on Nerf Innovation
I, River, like to have Nerf wars at night. Sometimes, we use glowsticks or flashlights and head out with our uncle and cousins to have Nerf battles. The trouble is that it’s hard to find the bullets in the dark (even with flashlights). I think Nerf bullets that light up after they are fired would be really cool. Also, a turret that can automatically swivel as movement is detected would make battles super intense!
You can see some of our other ideas from the week here:
