From Household Items: 5 Minute Challenge

In this episode of GoGreenfields, River and Terran get creative! They are each given a random household item, and the challenge is to create as many original characters as possible inspired by that item. Here’s the catch; they only have five minutes to do it! Let’s see what happens!

Items revealed!

First things first! We can’t do a challenge like this without knowing what our inspirations are. First, Terran finds out that his object will be a regular old tennis ball. Next, River learns that he’ll be working with a basic 9-volt battery. Simple items, let’s take a look at what the boys came up with!

Pac-Man and friends

Terran got to work fast with a pen! Before time was up, no fewer than eight different tennis ball-inspired characters adorned his end of the drawing pad. His character creations included a tennis ball-based character that looked a whole lot like Pac-Man, a deflated and sad tennis ball, a smiley robot, a more stoic robot, a whale, a monster ball, a small and happy ball, and another small ball that was a little sad because the timer was almost up.

Juice or no juice, that is the question

River put more tools to use; sketching first in pencil, then doing his ink lines, and finishing in glorious full color! After five minutes, three full-color characters were waiting to be discovered. His creations included an extra smiley battery, a tired battery with no power or “juice” left, and an electricity-breathing battery dragon!
