How To Grow Sprouts

Place 2 tablespoons of your choice of sprouting seeds in a mansion jar.

Fill the jar with filtered water.

Place a sprouting screen on the mouth of the jar.

Soak the seeds for 8-12 hours. After the soaking process is done rinse and strain the seeds.

Set the mason jar in such a way to allow the water to drain from the mouth of the jar. We used a bowl and washcloth.

For the first 2-3 days sprout the seeds in a dark cabinet. Make sure to rinse and strain seed 2-3 times a day.

Once the sprouts have grown about a 1/2 inch in length, place them on the counter or windowsill. The sunlight will provide chlorophyll Which will cause the sprouts to green up.

Continue to grow the sprouts on the counter for 2-3 days. Make sure to rinse and strain seeds 2-3 times a day.

Now the sprouts are ready to eat. Enjoy them in sandwiches, salads, on crackers or just on their own.
